A Bearable Contract

The Boston Bruins have resigned veteran Mark Recchi to a 1 year, $1 Million dollar contract.

Recchi was pleased when he was moved to Bruins last March and was able to play in the playoffs. Once he settled in, Recchi was used as a top 6 forward and contributed 16 points in 18 games.

Fantasy Outlook: At 41 years of age, Recchi continues to show he has the ability to contribute both on and off the ice. Signing with the Bruins has increased his fantasy value and owners should expect him to duplicate his 61 points in 81 games last season. He may slip on draft day due to his age but owners should not shy away as he is still a viable option at wing.
